On March 5 our first three exchange students from Webb School of Knoxville arrive in Shanghai with their Mandarin Instructor. Students that are visiting are Lucy, Grade 12, Peyton, Grade 11, and Zach, Grade 10. Their instructor is Cindy. Sunday night they were introduced to their host families, the Hung Family and Hsieh Family.

Monday they arrived at SLAS and began their two week program. They have a busy schedule of classes and daily excursions into the many interesting sites of Shanghai. At SLAS they are taking Chinese Language (Reading, Writing, and Conversation), Pottery, Cooking, and Chinese Art.

Each Afternoon they are going on short trips to places like Jing’an Temple, People’s Square, Nanjing Road, Jade Buddha Temple, and many other famous areas.
